Synopsis

Welcome to the 5th Borobudur International Symposium 2023 in conjunction with the 1st International Conference on Environment, Green Technology and Digital Society.
To this day, sustainable development and the role of technology are ongoing discussions. Green technology focuses on developing and utilizing environmentally friendly solutions for a sustainable society. These include renewable energy, waste management, water conservation, sustainable transportation, and green manufacturing. On the one hand, Industry 4.0 integrates advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), big data analysis, robotics, and automation in industrial processes. At the same time, digital society has developed. They use tools, platforms, and networks for communications, commerce, governance, healthcare, education, and entertainment. Recognizing the potential for synergy between these fields, our present conference expects contributions from keynote speakers and presenters to explore the contribution of green technology and digital society to sustainable development. This is the first time we have held two conferences in one event, the Borobudur International Symposium and the International Conference on Environment, Green Technology and Digital Society.
